John and his wife Babette have been full time residents of Elk Ridge since the spring of 2008. John is the President of Rocky Mountain Environmental Associates, a small environmental and water-rights consulting firm based in Idaho Falls. John holds BS and MS degrees in geology, and has worked in the environmental consulting industry since the mid 80’s. He has also worked in the non-profit world, including 3 years doing private-land conservation work, and several years as the Research Director at Friends of the Teton River where he conducted hydrologic and fisheries related research and irrigation management work. John and Babette enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking and skiing in the wilds around Swan Valley.
Leigh and her husband David are full time residents of Elk Ridge. They built their house in 2007-08 and moved in April of 2008. Leigh has 20 years experience as an Office Manager/Bookkeeper/Estimator in the construction field and 25 years in the medical field. She was a supervisor of an Occupational Medicine Hospital Clinic and an Office Manager/Bookkeeper for an Oral surgeon as well as her own CPR business in California before retiring full time to Swan Valley.
Mike spent his career in construction, 1st as a carpenter, and then the last 20 years as a site superintendent for a development company in the Silicone Valley overseeing the day-to-day construction of Class A commercial buildings and large apartment complexes . Mike and his wife Linda moved to Swan Valley in 2012, began construction of their house, and moved in July of 2013. Both enjoy the outdoors, wildlife, and the slow pace of Eastern Idaho.
